Visakhapatnam: All the Ministers under the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will submit resignation on Thursday to give him a free hand to reconstitute the Cabinet, sources in YSRCP said.
The Chief Minister is expected to accept the resignations at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, sources said. The new Cabinet, according to speculations, will take oath on April 11.
Reddy during formation of government after a decisive mandate in 2019 elections had announced that he would reshuffle the ministry to give scope to new faces. He had said that 90 percent of Ministers would be replaced.
All the leaders in the party including those in the Cabinet and aspirants have kept their fingers crossed as the Chief Minister always prefers to take decisions on his own. It is speculated that Ministers who will not find a place in the ministry, may be assigned organisational work to ensure victory in the 2024 elections.
